This Privacy Policy describes how FitRush ("we", "us", "our"), operated by Crepe LLC, collects, uses, and shares information when you use the FitRush mobile application (the "App"). FitRush is a marketplace for booking 1-on-1 personal training sessions with independent certified trainers.
1. Information we collect
Account information. When you create an account we collect your email address and the display name you choose. If you sign in with a third-party identity provider, we receive the basic profile information that provider returns.
Profile and fitness information. When you complete onboarding or fill in a Fitness Passport, we collect goals, experience level, and the workout preferences you choose to share. Trainers see this profile information to tailor sessions.
Location information. With your permission, we collect coarse-grained device location to surface trainers near you and to power Looking Now alerts. You can deny or revoke this permission at any time in your device settings; the App will still work, but location-based features are limited. We do not track your location in the background.
Booking and transaction information. When you book a session we record the trainer, slot, date, location, and price. Payments are processed by Stripe — Stripe handles your card details directly and we do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.
Device and diagnostic information. We collect aggregated app interaction data and crash logs through Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to detect bugs and improve performance. This includes anonymized device identifiers, OS version, and the screens you visit inside the App.
Communications. If you contact our support address we keep the message and our reply for service-history purposes.
2. How we use information
- To create and operate your account and to authenticate sign-ins.
- To match you with trainers based on location, specialty, and your stated preferences.
- To process bookings and payments through Stripe.
- To send transactional notifications (booking confirmations, reminders, status changes).
- To send opt-in proximity alerts when an active trainer is near you (Looking Now feature).
- To diagnose crashes, monitor service health, and improve the App.
- To enforce our Terms of Service and to comply with legal obligations.
3. How we share information
With trainers. When you book a session, the trainer sees your display name, photo if you set one, your stated goals, and the booking details required to deliver the session.
With service providers. We use vendors that process information on our behalf: Firebase (Google) for authentication, database, analytics, and crash reporting; Stripe for payment processing; Apple and Google for push-notification delivery. These providers are bound by their own privacy commitments.
For legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or if necessary to protect our rights, property, or the safety of users.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Data retention
We retain account, profile, and booking data while your account is active. Crash logs and aggregated analytics are typically retained for 14 months. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing the address below; we will delete the data within a reasonable period unless we are required to retain it for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention reasons.
5. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your information, and to opt out of certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us at the support address below.
California residents have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) including the right to know what personal information we have collected, to delete it, and to opt out of "sale" of personal information. We do not sell personal information.
6. Children's privacy
FitRush is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
7. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards, including TLS in transit and access controls on our servers, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. International users
We operate from the United States. If you use FitRush from outside the U.S., your information is transferred to and processed in the U.S., where data-protection laws may differ from your home jurisdiction.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the App or by email. The "Updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
